TerraChem in the Spotlight

On October 16th TerraChem organised an outreach day in the museum of Naturalis Biodiversity Center in Leiden, The Netherlands. Visitors of the museum could join various presentation sessions in the interactive LiveScience exhibit.

Liselotte Rambonnet (Naturalis), Mark Doeland (Naturalis), Henrik Barmentlo (ULEI) and Vincent van de Pas (WUR) presented their work within the TerraChem project together with an educator of the museum. Liselotte and Vincent also demonstrated the dissection of a barn owl and insect sorting respectively. The presentations were well received by the general public and drew a lot of interest from families visiting the museum during the autumn holiday.
